Fish Tank Promotions is proud to present VOLK with Boldmember and Big Hank at The Aquarium in Fargo on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
VOLK is a Nashville-based cowpunk duo made up of Chris Lowe (electric guitar, vocals) and Eleot Reich (drums, lead vocals). Small in size and enormous in sound, they combine thrash and twang, glam rock and Americana, politics and pageantry into a high-octane live show unlike anything else on the road. Their debut LP Cashville, recorded at Threshold Studio in Indianapolis, is out on Romanus Records. The Charlotte Observer called them “the house band for a honky-tonk in hell.” Ray Wylie Hubbard put it simpler: “if I’m ever short on attitude and badassedness . . . I know where to find some.”
Boldmember is a surf punk band featuring seasoned, extra greasy scene veterans and former members of Mr. Meaner and Moo Boots.
Big Hank is a noisy garage punk duo featuring former members of Hangtime and Free Truman. Their self-titled demo is a VHS camcorder recording of a live set at The Aquarium. Check it. <3
